Often, redefining and rediscovering yourself goes hand in hand with self-presentation. Personal styling can go a long way in helping you along your path to living your dreams. So…what’s going on in your closet?

01 — Your Personal Style

You may already have a very strong sense of this, or maybe your icons are constantly evolving, but please take some time to put a few ideas together before our first virtual appointment. I would love for you to set up a private Pinterest page highlighting your favorite outfits, looks, designers, etc.

02 — Your Closet Edit

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo will be our guide here, especially the excerpt below:

When deciding what to discard, remember that the endgame isn’t to throw out or donate as much as possible, but to make sure that the things you hold onto make you happy. This is where picking up each item and asking, “does this spark joy?” comes in. It may sound like a hazy benchmark but with practice, it becomes an invaluable tool. It’s particularly effective for organizing closets as we often develop superficial attachments to clothing (I paid a lot for this, I wore it when I met my husband, maybe if I lose 10 pounds), not really considering if the shirt, dress, or pair of shoes serves a purpose.
